Through our dear friend and partner, Edward Smart, we came in contact with a treasure of an organization called Raksha Nepal. They are working diligently to fight human trafficking in Nepal and as part of that battle they have a home where young women and children are cared for after being rescued from trafficking. Some of the young people there were homeless and found just in time before they entered the world of trafficking themselves or being trafficked. We are proud to see the girls thriving in school, at home and many of them moving on to graduate, receive career training, get jobs, and some of them go on to tertiary education either at universities or certification programs.
